Heat exposure sensing: longitudinal wearable measurement of heat exposure

Supervisors: Julien Nembrini, Moreno Colombo, Denis Lalanne

Student: Han Ngoc Kieu

Project status: Ongoing

Year: 2026

The goal of this project is to develop a mobile application able to interface with wearable temperature and humidity sensors. Given the development of heatwaves in city contexts, the idea is to be able to estimate individual heat exposure across daily activities and link it with other data sources such as physiological and mobility data. The project will concentrate on a single mobile platform (Android or IOS).
